We shipped with Grimaldi from Buenos Aires to Bremerhaven. We had a German agent with excellent service:

and the Buenos Aires ports-agent was:

There had been some difficulties because some ships had to go to docks and they changed the routes. At least we ordered 'Grande Buenos Aires' at November 12 2008 and leaved at November 16.

The fare is graduated by the addition of length and height. Our fare from Buenos Aires to Hamburg was for the truck, category B/2     Euro 2.100,00, and for 1 person, category V3 (inside cabin 2 bed use)  Euro 1.350,00.  Prices for outside cabins and owner cabins up to Euro 2.538,00.

We asked for leaving ship in Bremerhaven/Germany. Because they had to load there it was no problem to leave - and we saved 2 days coming home.

We sailed 22 days and have had stops in Brasil and Dakar/Senegal for loading. All worked out well. Italian food was ok (breakfast + 3course lunch + 3course dinner). We did not need extra money.

The days waiting for shipping we spent in Club Aleman outside south of Buenos Aires (S34°49,850' W58°25,599') and took bus, train and metro / taxi to visit capitol.

We enjoyed the voyage even though it is only car and container-carrier with max 12 guests.  So you need to work for yourself.  Take some books and some work with you. It is lot of time to make picture shows or to get a tan in the sun.

We booked in July for November and changed the departure date in end of October. It is good to ask as soon as possible.
